Grumman A-A6 IntruderThe Intruder

A-6A was developed as the first all-weather carrier-based fighter of the U.S. NAVY. First deployed in 1963, it was adopted by actual operational units from as early as 1965. Production of the early model reached close to 500 aircraft, with the early model widely used during the Vietnam War for night attack operations.

It features easy to assemble palm-size planes comprised of few fidgety parts to satisfy beginners and collectors, and beautiful detailing to satisfy experienced modellers. This wonderful series of accurately detailed planes has been launched and covers the whole spectrum of aircraft, ranging from the world’s first jet fighter, the Messerschmitt Me262, through to fighters, interceptors and bombers.
