Tamiya 1/100 Scale # 61605 McDonnell Douglas F-4EJ Phantom II Japan's F-4EJ Phantom II was deployed to all 6 JASDF squadrons in the 1970's. Based on the U.S. Air Force's F-4E, 140 F-4EJ planes were produced for the JASDF. The F-4EJ featured a 20mm Vulcan canon affixed under the nose, and AIM-7E Sparrow and AIM-9L Sidewinder missiles It features easy to assemble palm-size planes comprised of few fidgety parts to satisfy beginners and collectors, and beautiful detailing to satisfy experienced modellers.
