The former Soviet Union jet bomber, the Ilyushin IL-28, was first deployed in 1950 and was later adopted by nations of the Warsaw Pact. Boasting a 3-ton armament-payload and capable of carrying tactical nuclear weapons, the IL-28 saw action in the Middle East and Nigeria in the late 1960's. It features easy to assemble palm-size planes comprised of few fidgety parts to satisfy beginners and collectors, and beautiful detailing to satisfy experienced modellers. This wonderful series of accurately detailed planes has been launched and covers the whole spectrum of aircraft, ranging from the world’s first jet fighter, the Messerschmitt Me262, through to fighters, interceptors and bombers. Thanks to a compact scale and ease of assembly, building your own personal squadron or dog fight scene is no longer a time-consuming dream, but an enjoyable reality. Plastic Kit - Assembly Required
